  10. I recently purchased a Macintosh Performa 6300 which includes a Global Village
  11. Teleport Platinum V Telecommunications *Card*.  The modem seems to
  12. function normally with one exception:  I can╣t log on to my local ISP
  13. without setting the port speed to 19,200.  I would like to achieve
  14. consistent 28.8k or at least 26.4k log-ons.  I have logged on consistently
  15. over the same phone lines with a Hayes 28.8.

  17. I CAN log on to local BBS╣s at 28.8 with no problems!  (First Class or Zterm).

  19. I have tried numerous settings and the following initialization strings:
